Project Overview
Gasweld Industries completed an LPG vessel testing and pipework upgrade for a commercial facility operating an established bulk LPG system.
The project was undertaken to assess the condition of the existing vessel, complete scheduled testing requirements and replace sections of ageing pipework and associated components.
Scope of Works
The works included:
- Isolation and preparation of the LPG system
- Ten-year vessel testing coordination
- Inspection of accessible pipework and fittings
- Replacement of selected valves and components
- Fabrication of new pipework sections
- Pressure and integrity testing
- Recommissioning of the LPG system
- Final operational checks
The works were planned carefully to ensure the system remained isolated and controlled throughout the testing and upgrade process.
Project Outcome
Following the testing and upgrade works, the LPG system was returned to service with improved pipework integrity and updated components.
The completed project helped the facility maintain a dependable LPG system while addressing scheduled vessel-testing and maintenance requirements.
